Tierra Whetstone

A member of Chicago’s Henry Hendricks Weddington School for the Performing Arts Vocal Arts Ensemble since 2006, opera singer Tierra Whetstone has had the opportunity to apprentice and perform with great stars and has received numerous Honor Superior medals for her performances.

She has performed roles as diverse as The Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland and Ruth from The Pirates Of Penzance. She has had the privilege of working with Mrs. Maggie Daley, and has performed at the Chicago Theater, the Robert H. Lurie Cure for Cancer Convention, and Voices for Illinois Children.

In 2010 Tierra will be attending North Park University, where she plans to follow her dream of becoming a choral and orchestral conductor and an operatic singer.
