Julian Ryder

Julian Ryder is a creativity activist. He’s Founder and Chief Creative Officer of The Right Brain Project, the education and training firm helping leaders build organizations that thrive on creativity.

For the past 25 years, Julian has been a creative leader in education and business. He has served as Chairman of the Communications Design Department at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he led programs that graduated some of today’s most talented creative professionals. And as creative director for advertising agencies in New York and Los Angeles, he’s produced award winning advertising for world-class brands including Nike, The Australian Tourist Commission, Honda Motors and Proctor and Gamble.

He’s Chairman of FullCircle, an Art Center College of Design organization committed to accelerating the impact of creativity on shaping a more humane future, and is currently writing a book on creativity that explores the neuroscience, experience, and human aspect of being creative.

The great nephew of Samuel Ryder, founder of the famed Ryder Cup in golf, his passions are golf (of course), surfing, snowboarding and skiing. He lives in Hermosa Beach, California with his wife.
